June, 2017 Meeting:

Will Daskal
Wednesday's June 14th Forks Area Art Society meeting features artist Will Daskal. As always is the enjoyable Show and tell segment of attendees work. 7 - 9 PM, Forks Township Municipal Building, 1606 Sullivan Trail, Easton, PA 18040.
Will's bio:

Will Daskal is an energetic, highly motivational, multi-award-winning artist who has studied transparent watercolor, oil and acrylic painting techniques with numerous internationally, nationally and regionally well-known artist/instructors. Will and his work have been featured many times on BRC-TV Channel 13’s Evening News, ViaMedia’s Art in the Valley, BRC-TV Channel 13’s Talk of the Town with Kim & Marie, and almost two dozen telecasts of BRC-TV Channel 13’s Out in the Open with Alex & JoAnn Zidock.

Will’s paintings are highly collectible and are held in private and corporate collections in the United States, Canada, and Europe. Will simply loves to perform at club demonstrations, area painting workshops and always shares all his painting tips and secrets with his eager students, as he teaches them the “Thrill of Painting”. His current work may be viewed on his website at http://www.WillDaskal.com.

Will now specializes in private painting instruction, as well as providing watercolor, oil, mixed media & acrylic workshops to art groups and civic organizations throughout NEPA and the Lehigh Valley. He is a Past-President of the PAINT BOX ART CLUB (Nazareth), a past Executive Officer and Treasurer of the Pocono Mountains Art Group, and he currently serves as Vice-President of POCONO WATERCOLOR ASSOCIATES (Cresco).

Will strives to show that painting can be rich and dramatic. Will envisions artistic inspiration everywhere he travels, painting simply for sheer enjoyment and spiritual gratification. His artistic creativity is predicated upon a primal energy that flows within him. The natural world is beautiful and filled with exciting possibilities, and he feels infinitely blessed to be able to observe and explore so much or it through his art. His paintings are rooted in bits of reality, as well as his own personal existence, forming a springboard for situations he might observe or imagine.
